Error XRC document missing

I’m getting this error. Wat can I do?

You are probably missing the AR Subsystem package which is, along with AR Foundation, a dependency of provider packages (i.e. ARKit XR Plugin).
Open the Package Manager in Unity and check if you have installed the following packages:

  1. AR Foundation
  2. AR Subsystem
  3. ARKit XR Plugin

Regards.

Hi.
I’m also facing the same issue as above. I’ve tried different versions of UNITY and different versions of AR FOUNDATION but keep getting the same error as soon as I enable allow unsafe code.

Assets\Placenote\LibPlacenote\LibPlacenote.cs(542,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘XRCameraImage’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Assets\Placenote\LibPlacenote\LibPlacenote.cs(547,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘XRCameraImagePlane’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Assets\Placenote\LibPlacenote\LibPlacenote.cs(542,9): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘XRCameraImage’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Darius

Hello,

I was facing the same issue as well. I am using Unity version 2020.3.12f1, AR Foundation 4.1.7, and AR Kit XR Plugin 4.1.7. I think I might’ve stumbled across the solution in the Unity docs: https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.xr.arfoundation@4.0/manual/migration-guide-3.html

Two things worked for me:

  1. Changing “XRCameraImage” to “XRCpuImage”.
  2. Changing “XRCameraImagePlane” to “XRCpuImage.Plane”.

For other issues I referred mainly to: https://docs.placenote.com/unity/troubleshooting.

I hope this helps,
Cheers
